Rockie and the band were humbled by the efforts of the 'HONOR AND REMEMBER' organization as they presented commemorative flags to 32 families at the annual banquet for the families of Virginia. The organization's mission is to create, establish and promote a nationally recognized flag that would fly continuously as a visible reminder to all Americans of the lives lost in defense of our national freedoms. All Military lives lost not only in action but also in service, from our nation’s inception to present day. Rockie's concert performance and the evening's ceremony were the in an effort to honor and remember the sacrifices made by those who paid the ultimate price for our nation.

Rockie and band performed in Chicago for the Illinois Chapter of Tribute To The Troops. Rockie is co-founder of this charity, which is celebrating its 8th year with the official launching of the Illinois Chapter. Rockie is with some of the Illinois Gold Star Mothers in this photo. The 2011 Illinois ride will be on Sunday, July 17th.
Rockie was invited to perform at the 9th Annual “Battle Of The Badges” in Chicago where he performed “Boy In A Uniform” to honor the fallen. Last year, the city of Chicago lost four police officers and five fire fighters in the line of duty.

During intermission, Rockie and the band performed a tribute to the United States Armed Forces, which honored Chicago’s own Marine Corp Sergeant Michael Mendoza, who received the Silver Star as well as two Purple Hearts for his valor and service.

Rockie and his band had the pleasure of performing at the fifth annual "Rockin' For The Troops" Concert in Chicago. The concert is headlined by Gary Sinise and The Lt. Dan Band.
Rockie met MTV reality show star, Mike "The Situation" from the hit show, "Jersey Shore." Rockie was not embarrassed to admit that he had never seen the show before and had no idea who "The Situation" was until that moment.

Rockie Lynne recently returned to Albuquerque for the second year in a row to help raise funds and awareness for New Mexico’s largest homeless shelter on their annual benefit banquet.
This year’s performance featured a special song entitled “Hand Up” written and performed by Lynne specifically for Joy Junction. The song was inspired by his visit to the shelter last year. A digital download is currently available on iTunes. All proceeds will benefit Joy Junction.

Immediately following a performance for the 2010 Vietnam Veterans Of America Leadership Conference, Rockie was presented with a Medal Of Achievement to recognize his efforts in support of the United States Armed Forces and, in particular, our Vietnam Veterans.
